College/Career Coordinator, David Anderson: I grew up in Southeast Alabama in a small town called New Brockton. I went to Troy University and graduated with a degree in Geomatics and Survey Sciences, basically Land Surveying, GIS, GPS stuff. I then went to New Orleans and started attending seminary there working on a Master's of Divinity in Biblical Studies while working full-time with my surveying degree. I met my wife, who is the current Children's coordinator, there while she was working on her Masters in Christian Education. Once she graduated I was presented with an opportunity to move back to Alabama and start working with the Gonzalez-Strength and Associates out of Pelham.

I am currently completing my last full-time semester and will graduate next December from Seminary. I did not really grow up in church, my parents went for a few years when I was finishing elementary school and I said the prayer but was never discipled or taught what it meant to be a Christian and what God expects from us as Christians. That was until my junior year of high school and since then I have been involved in church ever since. I believe that the most effective way of sharing the Gospel is building relationships, sharing the Word, and letting people see it lived out in your life.
