Curriculum Descriptions

Village - ages newborn to 18 months

In Kindermusik Village, parents and lap babies experience what the latest brain research has confirmed: purposeful musical activities stimulate the cognitive and language, social and emotional, as well as physical developments that all begin in the very first days of a child's life.  The curriculum incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement.  

Our Time - ages 18 months to 3 years

In Kindermusik Our Time, the curriculum is designed for toddlers and focuses on the developing child in the earliest years with parents serving as a catalyst for that growth.  With engaging musical activities, including instrument exploration, creative movement, listening and Music & Movement Story Time, the Our Time studio curriculum focuses on the child's healthy emotional development and recognizes his need for both independence and support.  The Kindermusik Our Time curriculum reflects the emotional foundations of school readiness and the latest research on music and early childhood development.  

Imagine That! - ages 3 to 5 years

Kindermusik Image That! embraces the exuberance of the 3 to 4 year old in a musical learning curriculum that integrates music, expressive language, peer interaction and pretend play.  This curriculum focuses on the whole child, nurtures the child's natural tendency to explore the world through imagination and play.  Imagine That! offers carefully planned integration of thematic activities, diversity of music, and purposeful involvement of the parent during Share Time and at home.
