The Me I Want to Be, (John Ortberg) Led by Jeff Baker, Room 102
“If God has a perfect vision for our lives, why does spiritual growth seem so difficult?” Have you ever asked this question? Paul writes in Ephesians that that “We are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” It’s God’s desire that our lives flourish. He has a unique purpose for each of us. In this study, we will learn how we can realize the fullness of God’s design for our lives in four specific areas: within our minds, our time, our relationships, and our experiences.
Taking Care of Business, (Andy Stanley) Led by Doug Rawson, Room 104
For many Christians, understanding the role of Christ in our lives at home and at church is easy. But what about at work? How are we to exemplify Christ when we are trying to deal with our superiors, coworkers, balancing home and work life, along with trying to set goals and provide for our families? In this multi-part video series, Andy Stanley of North Point Community Church in Atlanta, GA addresses these issues and more in a direct fashion using scripture along with testimonials that will challenge each of us to understand the role our Christianity should play in the Christian walk each day of the week. Each week the class will watch a short video that will be used to guide the discussion afterwards.
