Shades Crest Baptist Church has been a beacon of light and life in the heart of the Bluff Park community for the last
seventy-two years. We share the love of Christ with our neighbors by providing weekly worship and prayer services, opportunities to gather for Bible study and community-building, and by encouraging participation in missions outreach. We regularly serve and support a variety of local and international missions’ efforts.

Weekly Church Services In Hoover, AL

Shades Crest Baptist Church meets regularly throughout each week. We offer a variety of activities and events for every age level. On Sundays, we worship in your choice of two services—the Rising service, a modern worship service, starting at 9:00 a.m., and our Majestic service, a conventional style service starting at 11:00 a.m. If you are unable to visit us in person, you can worship with us through the livestream of either service at Shades Crest Livestream. In-between worship services on Sunday mornings, our Connect Groups gather in classrooms throughout the church building and offer a great chance to us fellowship with believers in Bible study and prayer time.

On Wednesday evenings we offer a meal for families, followed by a mid-week Bible study for adults. While adults are in Bible study, programming is offered for students and children of all ages.

At Shades Crest, our mission is to find our home in Jesus. We seek to fulfill that mission together as a faith family, as we worship God, grow in Christ, live in community, and serve others.
