Shades Crest Baptist Church has been serving the Hoover, Alabama area for over 70 years. Our caring congregation welcomes anyone and everyone. We want you to discover the joy that we have when we come together to worship God in spirit and in truth.
Regular Activities at Shades Crest Baptist Church
Shades Crest Baptist Church meets regularly throughout each week. We offer a variety of activities and events for every age level. On Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. there is a Connect Group available for every person at Shades Crest—preschoolers through adults. Connect Groups offer a time of Bible study and connecting with others in a small group setting. Worship services are offered at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The Rising service, a modern worship service, begins at 9:00 a.m., and our Majestic service, a conventional style service begins at 11:00 a.m. If you are unable to visit us in person, you can worship with us through the livestream of either service at Shades Crest Livestream.
Pause on Wednesday evenings for a meal with the Shades Crest family at 5:00 p.m., and recharge with Bible study for adults, while your children head to music and missions activities, and students experience a time of worship and biblical learning.
