Upcoming Event

As we approach journey toward Holy Week, we invite all singers to be part of the choir for Good Friday and Easter Sunday. These services are among the most meaningful of our church year, and your voice can help lead our congregation in prayerful reflection and joyful celebration.

You don’t need to be a weekly choir member to participate—if you’re able to sing with us just for these two special services, you are warmly welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your musical gifts and be part of something truly meaningful.

Rehearsals begin this Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the Music Suite.

Children’s Choir

Children and preteens experience spiritual development through music in age-level children’s choirs that meet Wednesdays from 5:45 – 6:15 p.m. in the Music Suite.

Youth Choir

Youth Choir meets on Sunday afternoons at 1:30 p.m. in the Music Suite. All students in this age group (grades 7-12) are invited, regardless of their previous music experience.

Sanctuary Choir

Adults (college age and above) are invited to join this choir, which sings every Sunday morning in the 11:00 a.m. Majestic service, and for special programs throughout the year. The choir rehearses each Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m. in the Music Suite.

Mountainaires Choir

Adults aged 50 and older meet on Thursday mornings from 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. to rehearse for frequent music ministry trips to nursing/assisted living homes. This group also provides lunch and fellowship opportunities.

Sanctuary Orchestra

The orchestra plays twice a month in the 11:00 a.m. Majestic service and rehearses on the Wednesday preceding those Sundays (at 6:15 p.m. in the Sanctuary). This group accompanies the congregational singing and presents stand-alone pieces for the prelude. All experienced instrumentalists are invited to audition.

Handbell Choir

Music-reading adults (college age and older) are invited to participate in this group, which plays for selected fall and spring worship services as well as special programs. Handbell-ringing provides a musically challenging, team-building, worship-enhancing, unique way of making music. The handbell choir meets at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.

Praise Team

The praise team leads the congregation in song during the 9:00 a.m. Rising worship service. The team is comprised of instrumentalists who play every week and singers who sing regularly as a part of a rotation system. Rehearsals are on Sundays at 8:00 a.m.

Volunteer Members Needed

We want to expand the number of musicians participating in the Rising band and/or the church orchestra. Therefore, if you play an instrument and are willing to serve, please contact either Carter Naftel or Hiram Rollo for more information.
