The senior adult ministry at Shades Crest Baptist Church is designed to offer senior adults opportunities for continued spiritual growth, in addition to activities that promote worship, good health, fellowship, entertainment, and missions. The SCBC Senior Adult Ministry begins at age 65 with younger adults also welcome to join.
There are many wonderful happenings with our senior adults:
- Different Bible study options – At different times of the year we will offer a Bible study option during the week.
- LLL – Monthly luncheons or dinners with special activities. Usually this is the 3rd Thursday of each month.
- Retired & Moving – Monday mornings, games, fellowship and food from 9:00 AM-noon.
- Mystery Meals – Take your chance on the menu and join us for some great food and wonderful fellowship.
- Trips – Day and weekend trips
- Mountaineers – Senior Adult Choir for ages 65 and up
