SUNDAY, MARCH 24
9:00 AM (contemporary) – 11:00 AM (traditional)
Palm Sunday kicks off Holy Week. This is a special time to remember Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and celebrate His kingship.
MONDAY-WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25-27
11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Each contemplative service will have a guide for reflection and prayer. Because they are at-your-own-pace services, you are free to spend as much time as you want reflecting and praying.
THURSDAY, MARCH 28
7:00 PM
This communion worship commemorates Jesus’s last supper with His disciples. During that meal in the upper room, Jesus washed his disciples’ feet and gave them a new commandment: “Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another” (John 13:34). The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command.”
FRIDAY, MARCH 29
7:00 PM
This musical worship led by the Sanctuary Choir provides an opportunity to reflect on the passion of Christ. Tenebrae (or “Shadows”) is an ancient Good Friday service, when darkness increases by gradually extinguishing candles to symbolize the coming darkness of Jesus’ death.
SUNDAY, MARCH 31
9:00 AM (contemporary) – 11:00 AM (traditional)
Following the daily worship experiences during Holy Week, Easter Sunday is a day of celebration. With much joy we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, and His victory over death.
