The mission of the student ministry at SCBC is to encourage students and their families to know and follow Jesus Christ, glorify God with their lives, and invite others to do the same.

Connect Groups

Connect Groups, from 10:00 – 10:50 a.m., are Bible study groups—and so much more! In Connect Groups we encourage students to connect with God, study scripture, and connect with their faith community, and those beyond. Students in 7th – 11th grades meet in groups with guys or girls only, and 12th graders meet together.

Student Night

A large group student worship service where students worship together, hear a biblical message, and discuss in small groups. Meet on Sundays at 6:00 PM in the youth room.

Wednesday Night D-Groups

Wednesday night discipleship groups are adult-led small group opportunities for students to experience bible study, prayer, and Christian community. Discipleship groups for girls and guys meet on Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the Youth Hall.

D Groups

Discipleship Groups meet at The Grove, Chick-fil-A at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday mornings during the school year. Discipleship Groups are designed for high school students, and guys and girls meet separately, each with an adult leader. Students are responsible for securing transportation to school.

Weekly Parent Email

Emails are sent to parents of students each Monday. This email includes information about the Wednesday meal, payment due dates, and any upcoming events. Email Mara to be added to the mailing list.

Opportunities

From transporting kids to hosting a small group in your home to chaperoning a trip, there are plenty of ways to get plugged in as a parent and invest in our students.
